OUR HISTORY
D.J. Alexander began life as a residential estate agent in the Leith district of Edinburgh in 1982 but the proprietor, David Alexander, soon discovered the vast untapped potential offered by executive property lettings in the capital and decided to concentrate the firm’s entire efforts in this field.
Nevertheless, after a long and successful history of property lettings, D.J. Alexander returned to its roots in 2005 by launching, or re-launching, its own residential estate agency arm, based at 24 Dundas Street, Edinburgh.
Initially, the company had just a handful of letting properties on its books but due purely to generic growth it now manages an unrivalled portfolio of quality flats and houses throughout Edinburgh and Glasgow.
We have successfully grown our business over the years through our committed approach to client satisfaction. We strive to ensure we always act in the best interest of landlords and tenants, sellers and buyers.
Asked to explain the success of D.J. Alexander over a quarter of a century, David Alexander commented:
