The quality newspaper, Sunday Herald, has expressed its appreciation to D J Alexander for assistance provided towards this week’s lead story. David Alexander provided estimates of the value of “second homes” in Edinburgh owned by MSPs, from which the Sunday Herald concluded that 28 Holyrood politicians were sitting on personal profits totalling £2 million, funded by public money through the second homes allowance.
