DJ Alexander operate four departments within our property management business, each focused on ensuring your property is conscientiously managed though every step of the rental and management process.

The departments are responsible for coordinating their own specific part of the marketing and subsequent tenancy management responsibilities. Each of the numerous procedures has been tailored and adapted over the 30 years we have operated in this market. This ensures all properties provide a steady and reliable income stream for every one of our clients.

Our key aim is to maximise rental income whilst protecting each property against the potential risks faced by today’s modern landlord. Ever changing legislation, problematic tenants and a vast array of property maintenance issues can easily erode rental yield if strict practises are not adhered to.

We have developed a bespoke property management software package which contains and controls all information relating to each property within our portfolio. This is fundamental to the success of our business and allows us to monitor the status of each property and provide a service which can.

PROPERTY LETTINGS

Six experienced Property Managers work in our lettings department and focus on ensuring that all properties are let as quickly as possible, at the best market rent whilst always adhering to our strict, tenant selection process.

ACCOUNTS

Our accounts department collect and process all rental payments using an automated Direct Debit system ensuring late payments are kept to a minimum. They ensure that any trade work invoices are settled on behalf of each client and accounted for on their monthly income statement.

PROPERTY MAINTENANCE

Over the years our property maintenance department have identified a selection of the most reliable and efficient maintenance contractors from the local community. We have the capability of tackling all repairs, alterations and improvement associated with properties at every level in the market, regardless of the scale.

Our aim is to ensure that all issues reported to us by our tenants are dealt with proficiently and professionally. and that between tenancies and deterioration in standards is addressed and rectified.

CHECKOUT

Working along side the maintenance department is our check out department who are responsible for inspecting every property at the end of each lease and co-ordinating any remedial works once liability has been established .
