DOMESTIC GAS SAFE ENGINEER

We are looking for full time Domestic Gas Engineer/Plumber to add to our expanding property maintenance company based in Edinburgh city centre who specialise in the maintenance of residential properties.

Experienced time served Domestic Engineer / Plumber to work within domestic homes in Edinburgh and surrounding areas. Candidate must have experience in boiler repairs and maintenance as well as boiler installations. We are looking to expand by adding Gas Safe qualified engineers who have at least 3 years experience and who can work confidently on their own, have a proven track record and good customer skills.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

Candidate must have experience in domestic gas servicing/fault finding & repairs, as well as carrying out gas safety inspections & legionella risk assessments, also to carrying out all aspects of plumbing and maintenance/renewal works.

The type of work we carry out includes:- 

  • Central heating & boilers- fault finding, repair, installation and servicing
  • Gas hob and oven fault finding, installations, repair and disconnection
  • Gas hire, service, fault finding, installation, repair and disconnect - Landlord safety certificates
  • Gas safety inspections & legionella risk assessments

Qualifications:-

The position requires a full driving license. Applicants must have a can-do positive attitude.

  • To be Gas Safe registered and ACS qualified with a minimum of CCN1, CEN1, HTR1 and CPA1 with experience of servicing, fault finding and repair
  • Have a valid flue gas analysis certificate
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a gas safe engineer
  • Own hand tools

For an experienced candidate we can offer:

  • Salary of £27,500 - £30,000 pa depending on experience
  • Hours 8.30am – 5pm Monday – Thursday, Fridays 8.30am – 4.30pm

MAINTENANCE CO-ORDINATOR
 

We are looking for enthusiastic Maintenance Co-ordinators to work in our fast-paced office in Easter Road, Edinburgh. Reporting to the Property Maintenance Manager the overall purpose of this role is to manage the day-to-day property administration. You will ensure that properties are maintained effectively, build relations with tenants and landlords and portray a positive professional image of the company in your activities. Applicants should be proficient multitaskers, organized and have strong people skills.

Responsibilities are varied but will include:-

  • Telephone and email requests from tenants.
  • Liaising between tenants/landlords and contractors
  • Recording and instructing work orders to contractors
  • Obtaining quotes and dealing with insurance claims.
  • Organising annual safety certification checks.

Requirements you will need:-

  • Experience of repairs and maintenance
  • Basic knowledge of Health & Safety compliance
  • Strong administration and coordination skills

PROPERTY MANAGER

This challenging role will put on the front line, managing a range of property management tasks including viewings, inventories, inspections and checkouts, with no two days the same! Ideally, we are looking for a Property Manager with a least one years’ experience within property lettings, with knowledge of the different areas of Edinburgh.  Alternatively, someone with a strong sales background within a target driven environment will be considered for the role.

The candidate should be a highly effective negotiator, with excellent communications skills, a strong customer service background and have great attention to detail.  This is an excellent opportunity to join a prestigious company currently expanding, in a varied and fast paced role with fantastic career prospects.

Responsibilities are varied but will include:-

  • Carrying out viewings of available properties 
  • Negotiating tenancy agreements
  • Liaising with landlords after viewings to agree tenancies
  • Managing landlords’ expectations regarding possible works required
  • Managing incoming tenants’ expectations to avoid disappointment at move in
  • Regular marketing updates Renegotiating entry dates as required
  • Dealing with phone and email enquiries
  • Booking appointments
  • Updating landlords
  • Rent arrears visits
  • New inventories and inventory updates
  • Check out inspections
  • Confirming cleaning requirements
  • Establishing dilapidation responsibility
  • Liaising with the team over issues affecting proposed lease start date
  • Routine inspections and resulting landlord updates/upgrades Updating system/saving reports/inventories/photos

 Requirements you will need:-

  • Full clean drivers’ licence
  • Ideally 1 years Property Management Experience
  • Can demonstrate good negotiation/communication skills and be very competent in resolving conflict and potential disputes – both written and verbal
  • IT proficient
  • Personable character with the ability to multi task and perform under pressure
  • Working hours of Monday – Thursday 9am – 5.30pm and Fridays 9am – 5pm

EXPERIENCED CONTENT MARKETING MANAGER

You’re are a highly motivated individual with a real passion for creating high quality and effective content, an expert writer with experience in producing content for a commercial market. You’ll have an eye for detail as well as great creative flair, to ensure that we create content that is relevant, interesting and engaging. You’ll be responsible for developing and implementing the content strategy and creating content across all our communication channels, including social media, websites, editorial and press releases.

We use a wide range of channels so you’ll need to be able to adapt your style to suit different audiences and mediums.

We need you to:

  • Meet business targets of increased awareness and new business, develop a content strategy for all channels including website, social media, communications, press releases and editorial.
  • Develop social media communications strategy and provide regular reports and analysis, showing campaign results and highlighting key trends.
  • Develop and manage a content plan for paid and earned traffic, for both new and existing clients, to reach new audiences and improve engagement. Promote content through social media channels to increase reach.
  • Develop core messages to be repurposed through all channels
  • Produce content for a wide range of channels working with the Marketing Manager to create the assets
  • Develop content approach for each channel. Measure all activity to improve effectiveness of reach and spend, using Google Analytics, Marketing Automation and CRM systems
  • Working with the Digital Manager, use content to build awareness and drive customers down the conversion funnel, as well as optimising the content for search (SEO) 
  • Manage direct marketing email programmes to nurture leads and retain existing clients
  • Ongoing production and delivery of content.
  • Produce press releases and articles

Skills & experience the Content Marketing Manager must have;

  • An excellent writer, with attention to detail - and a strong need for consistent and standardised messaging
  • Experience working within content development and delivery - with relevant client or agency experience
  • Can demonstrate experience of planning and activating content campaigns across social media channels such as Facebook, Instagram and Twitter
  • A strong passion for social media and digital advertising in general
  • A good understanding of social listening and analytics tools
  • A creative thinker with sound editorial and excellent writing skills. Strong content creation and content marketing experience
  • Enjoy working on multiple projects, takes ownership and manages own workload
  • Be a confident and competent communicator, able to build strong relationships across the business and externally with our clients and media partners
  • We expect you to have 5 of years’ recent experience working on earned campaigns
  • You will have good interpersonal skills and the ability to persuade
  • You are likely to have at least a degree in an appropriate subject such as English, journalism, media studies or public relations, but we will consider candidates with appropriate skills and experience
  • You must be able to work quickly, under pressure and to changing deadlines
  • You must have a current legal right to work in the UK
