Craigleith and Blackhall are about two miles North West of the city centre. There is a Sainsbury’s and Marks and Spencer within the Craigleith Retail Park along with several other stores. Amenities slightly further afield at Stockbridge include a wide range of shops, bars, bistros and restaurants. The local primary school is Flora Stevenson, and some of Edinburgh’s best private schools are within walking distance. Local recreational facilities include Inverleith Park, The Royal Botanic Garden, the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art and walks through the Dean Village and along the Water of Leith. There is also a cycle path which gives direct access to the city centre, Leith and Cramond.
